E3 is here!

As most gamers know, the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (also known as E3) is taking place this week in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. For those less familiar about what E3 is, it is a showcase for the three major console platforms, xbox 360, ps3 and wii and their developers microsoft, Sony and nintendo. It's the quintessential who's who of gaming. Each year each company tries to outdo each other by showing off the latest game, system or gadgetry. Last year, for example, all the rage was the Playstation MOVE and the Xbox Kinect. This year so far has been kind of quiet to start off, but then again the expo just started yesterday. While there were a few expected announcements from xbox, nothing really stood out in their presentation aside from the fact that mostly every game will feature kinect capabilities. Sony has shown that they are ready to take gaming to the next level with the first gaming cell phone with the Sony Vita. It looks just like a PSP but is a phone. So far there have been highs and lows for both PS3 and 360 but the week is still young. here's to hoping things get more and more interesting as the week goes along. I will be keeping you guys updated throughout the week.

Travis Barker feat. The Cool Kids-Jump Down (official video)

Travis Barker joins forces with Chicago's The Cool Kids on "Jump Down," the single from Barker's forthcoming solo LP "Give the Drummer Some". Directed by Nichole Ehrlich and Chris Young, the video was shot on Venice, California's famous boardwalk.

Travis Barker-Carry It

Who doesn't like hearing Travis Barker on the drums?!

213-I'm Fly

Everyone knows Nate Dogg from the West Coast classic "Regulate" with Warren G but not too many outside of Cali know much about 213 which features Warren G, Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg. This happens to be one of my all time favorite joints that feature Nate's signature vocals.

The Game-All Doggs Go to Heaven

As Hip Hop continues to mourn the recent death of Grammy-nominated singer Nate Dogg, Game channels his grievances into a new tribute song. Check it out....R.I.P. Nate Dogg

Mike Posner-Please Don't Go

I love this song and Mike Posner has been gaining more and more steam ever since he dropped "Cooler Than Me" early last year. This one, albeit less of a party record, can still get you moving. Enjoy!

Kanye West feat. Rihanna and Kid Cudi (and just about everyone else in the music industry)- All Of The Lights

This is my favorite song off his latest album (sad for a kanye fan). I hope this is the beginning of his transition from this Illuminati crap that is ruining his career and making me lose interest in such a talent. The song is great and takes me back to when he was a storytelling MC instead of a materialistic MC. Rihanna and Kid Cudi being featured are a good addition to the song (even though I hate Rihanna and her music, she fits on this song). I wish this was like the album version because I liked Fergie's (yes from BEP) verse and felt it should've been added. Overall good vid.

Dr. Dre feat. Eminem-I need a doctor (official video)

After Eminem shut down the Grammys with his performance on this song, everyone thought it would be a bonus track on the Recovery Re-release but come to find out this is the second single off of Dre's long awaited and highly anticipated Detox album. Great song and great concept! I love it!

Timothy Bloom feat. Vee Bozeman-Until the end of time

I hear this song every night on V-103 quiet storm. This song is for lovers only and the video is only for the grown and sexy. The concept is a directly parallel to D'angelo's smash hit "Untitled (how does it feel)". Just watch and listen and enjoy.

Ryan Leslie Laptop found!

One of the intriguing stories of 2010 has come to an end. Back in October, R. Les. lost his laptop which included unreleased music, instrumentals and concert footage as well as some of his personal information. This lead to Mr. Leslie offering, what started out as a $20,000, reward but as time went on, he upped the reward to $1 million. Well, some lucky German, whom the authorities are identifying as just Bern D., has found it and turned it in to the police. Ryan Leslie has yet to speak on the situation and deliver the $1 million but rest assured, he will pay the reward.

**DEAD ROFL** Josh Groban-The best tweets of Kanye West (Album)

Josh Groban is a multi-time grammy nominated vocalist and when you put that voice with the crazy mind of Jimmy Kimmel you end up with this...I cant stop laughing!

Justin Timberlake says "Take you down" is "not mine"

Rasmus Thude/Justin Timberlake

See the resemblance? Well Im sure you've heard the resemblance by now on "Take You Down" but Justin Timberlake's manager has corrected numerous media reports attributing the leaked single "Take You Down" to Timberlake. Sonia Muckle, Justin Timberlake's manager, has stated that multiple media reports, referred to in a Celebrity Circuit blog post, are untrue and that Justin's representatives "were not initially contacted to fact check the validity of these reports or if the song was, in fact, his." "Take You Down" is actually the work of a Danish artist named Rasmus Thude.

"Justin has no involvement with either the song or the artist," his management company said in a statement. "But [he] wants to assure his fans that when he releases new music, they will be the first to know."

The weird thing is Rasmus Thude sounds like either JT or Robin Thicke on certain songs. Dont know who Rasmus Thude is??? check out this song.

Chris Brown says "Look at me now" on new track

Picking up where he left off in 2010, Chris Brown on his "road to redemption" has released what will be a 2011 club banger feat. Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes in the form of "Look at me now". Its not a typical Breezy record because he raps on it but it shows his versatility and willingness to step outside of the norm. I personally like it.

UNDERGROUND HYPE-BIG K.R.I.T.

In 2010, this artist caught my ear with his southern drawl and conscious lyrics. Big K.R.I.T. is his name and though he hails from Mississippi and shows respect to David Banner and other southern hip hop artists that were before him, this rapper-producer wants to lay to rest the notion that rappers from the south can't be consciously lyrical. I think this dude will open the door for alot of southern rappers that aren't heard. Check him out on "Hometown Hero".
