Eminem feat. Jay Z, 50 cent, Dr. Dre, Cashis, and Stat Quo-Syllables
Fresh out the studio and into your ears comes "syllables" by Eminem featuring shady/aftermath artists, 50 cent, Cashis and stat quo...and Jay z...this song is dope! It blatantly attacks the state of hip hop today, where its "not about lyrics anymore, its about a hot beat and catchy hook".

Dance Central...The new Guitar Hero???!
This holiday season, there was alot of fuss made over which system would have the better motion sensor controller between WII, PS3 and 360. WII owners say PS3 ripped off their idea. PS3 say they made a better modification to the WII's concept. 360 says they have the more dominant controller b/c its original. Well I believe that 360 has another piece to base their case on, "Dance Central". This game is awesome and it makes perfect use of the motion sensor control. Not to mention, this game is crazy fun! Dont believe me watch this guy make a complete fool of himself and still have fun:
IN NEED OF SOME FUN?
Then look no further than "The Michael Jackson Experience" for WII. I had so much fun re-enacting some of my favorite MJ songs and moments. This has to be my favorite party game so far this year as far as fun factor is concerned. Sure, some of the game's dance moves may come off as too hard but once you get used to it, its no harder than "Dance Central" on xbox 360 (my other favorite party game). I recommend this for hardcore MJ fans and party gamers alike as the replay value on this is moderately high in my opinion. I cant wait to see what they do with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions! Check out the songs included in the WII version of the game:
Consequence feat. Mac Miller and Diggy Simmons-Im V.I.P.
Man this dude Diggy is on a roll going into the new year, lets see if he can keep it going (he will!) in 2011. Teaming up with rap-vet Consequence and newcomer Mac Miller for Im V.I.P. they've created a joint that reminds me of old school hip hop. Its good to see that Diggy has a love and appreciation for the genre that his father pioneered. ENJOY!
OH Nicki! Nicki Minaj covers KING magazine

Nicki Minaj is on a roll, top 10 album, top 10 body and to keep the momentum going she is set to release her video "Moment 4 Life" on New Years' Eve. Oh and by the way, she covers KING MAGAZINE along the way. Check out an excerpt of her discussing movie roles and wanting an aggressive man. This issue will be available everywhere early January. Check out an excerpt from the interview and more pics from the spread below:
What would be your dream role?
I’d like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy.
You kind of do that now.
Then I want to be able to do some action stuff, like Angelina Jolie.
Like in Salt?
Yes! And then I’d like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world. Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason’s Lyric.
Classic film. You did mention earlier how everything has been time consuming. But when that time frees up, what kind of guy do you look for to be sentimental and organic with?
Um, I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man. You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman.
How should your Ken bring out the freak in you, Barbie?
Just being super aggressive when the time is right.
Are we talking about Mortal Kombat–style “Come here” aggression?
Just something that makes me feel like they’re in control, when we are behind closed doors.
Sean Garrett Ft. Nicki Minaj - Get It All (Official Video)
As much as I cant stand the guy, this song is catchy and I love Nicki Minaj verse.

J. Cole-The Soul of J. Cole (Interview)
He is the most known, unknown rapper in the game right now. Watch J. Cole's 10 minute interview with 2DopeBoyz and TheWellVersed for insight on his work with Drake, the current lack of guest features on his forthcoming debut album, the J’s of Roc Nation, his socially conscious flow and his thoughts on the lyrical bar set by Nas with Illmatic.

NEW LUPE VIDEO! Need I say more? I think not...
But I will, Lupe finally is on track for this "Lasers" album to be released after spending much of 2010 in a back and forth with his label over creative differences, the two parties agreed that it would be released on March 8th, 2011. That still never stopped Lupe from dropping hot tracks and being featured on countless others in 2010 which is why I felt this song was an appropriate follow-up single to "I'm Beaming" which had fans salivating for more only to be left in the dark about whether or not they'd ever get the "Lasers" LP. This song is Lupe at his best and the video shows how hard he works, not for himself but, for the fans. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Rick Ross-9 Piece/Even Deeper (Official video)
Yeaaaaaaaaah! While other blogs take vacations and are still asleep, Im still on my grind! I bring to you the official video(s) for two of the best songs off Ricky Rozay's epic masterpiece of a mixtape "Ashes to Ashes", 9 Piece and Even Deeper. The latter which samples Barry White is like a continuation of his "Deeper than Rap" theme that he has been sticking with for a minute now and its a good look for "The Bawse" Rick Ross because its shown how lyrical the 305 Don can be and 9 Piece(the video version does not feature T.I.) sounds like an extension of BMF/MC Hammer because Lex Luger produced it but its still a banger nonetheless. Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Jamie Foxx performs on David Letterman
Last Night Jamie stopped by David Letterman to do some last minute album promo while there he chatted about singing for Prince, buying a horse for his buddy Robert Downey Jr. and his album. He also gave an early Christmas treat to the crowd in the form of an hour-long concert, performing songs from past and present albums. (click the play button twice to watch)
Keyshia Cole performs "Long Way Down"
Just days after admitting that her lead single "I Aint Thru" (which has failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100) was the wrong choice for a 1st single, Mrs. Cole has released her second single "Long Way Down" which is being received well. Watch as she wows the 106 & Park crowd with her performance of "Long Way Down".

Two of my favorite words in gaming! Come next spring, those words will be ringing in the homes of millions worldwide as Mortal Kombat makes its return and might I say this game looks awesome! Dont believe me check out this amazing trailer.

Mortal Kombat Rebirth trailer
This came out earlier this year, I'm hoping they release this as a movie to coincide with the upcoming game (see post about new MK game). Anyways, the fighting choreography is crazy and this features Michael Jai White (Spawn, Blood and Bone) as Jax. One can only hope that they turn this into a full length movie to restart the movie franchise.

New "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie in 2011!
I havent been a huge "Pirates" fan like some people I know but, this is definitely a series worth watching and after seeing this new trailer for the upcoming fourth installment in the series, Im excited and want to go rent the last 3 to refresh my memory about it. This new one stars Johnny Depp as he reprises his role as Captain Jack Sparrow and will costar Penelope Cruz as his love interest. I want to see this movie! "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" will hit theaters May 2011.

Lil Wayne feat. Cory Gunz-6'7' (six foot, seven foot)
Lil Wayne says this joint is like the 2010 "A Milli" on steroids. I kinda agree because he goes innnnn and it was produced by Bangladesh (who produced "A Milli") but on this one the hook is way more annoying than "A Milli" was which is why I think this should just be a track on his next album (which many speculate will be "Tha Carter IV") rather than a lead single.

Jamie Foxx-Fall For your type

This is one of my favorite joints of the year and Im glad someone like Jamie got a hold to it. I've loved this song since Drake released it almost a year ago. Funny how it ends up in the hands of the talented Mr. Foxx and Drake falls back to a feature role. This is said to be the 3rd single off his 4th studio album entitled "Best Night of My Life" which will drop next week on December 21st. This might possibly be his best album to date as Jamie always proves that the saying "gets better with age" is true. Here is the video. Enjoy!
Keyshia Cole feat. Nicki Minaj-I Aint Thru
The other day, I blogged about Keyshia Cole and her new album. I also mentioned that her 1st single would feature Nicki Minaj. Well here is the official video for her single "I Aint Thru" feat. Nicki Minaj and I must say they both look amazing, oh and the song aint bad either. lol. Enjoy!

Kid Cudi-The Journey of Mr. Rager [Part 1](Documentary)
Here is part one of the DVD that Kid Cudi released with his latest album "Man on the Moon II:The Legend of Mr. Rager". It chronicles the day in the life of Kid Cudi with tracks from the album playing in the background. I personally LOVE this album! If you havent had a chance to hear it, go buy it and give it a listen.

J. Cole-See World
Man the more and more I hear from Cole, the more I'm impressed by his ability to emote his thoughts and make you feel his pain. This is another conscious joint off his "Friday Night Lights" mixtape. This joint is basically him voicing his frustrations with the world today and the most heartwrenching moment of this song is the intro of the song as a local news anchor explains the sad death of a 5 yr old named Shania Davis who was prostituted by her own mother to pay a drug debt that her mother owed. As J. Cole says on the hook "See World, youre no good". SoundCloud - Track Shared With You!!

"Oh" Ciara! Maxim photo shoot
Check out CiCi as she shows us some of her goodies in this month's Maxim magazine. I personally think she should give up singing for awhile and focus on modeling cause she definitely has the body to do it.

this week's mixtape comes from B.o.B. Fresh off the heels of his triumphant debut album, the grammy nominated artist has released "No Genre". The mixtape includes features from T.I., Cyhi the prince and playboi tre among others. This mixtape is definitely worth the download and most of all, its free.

J. Cole-Cost Me Alot
man this dude is super talented! I hope signing with RocNation doesn't change him. I'm really looking forward to his debut album "vILLeMATIC" but until then his mixtapes will keep me interested as a listener. Check out this joint off his latest mixtape "Friday Night Lights". This one is called "Cost me alot"

T-pain and Lil Wayne (aka T-Wayne) feat. Smoke (from field mob)- H*es and Ladies
Fresh off his "pRevolver: The Mixtape" is this T-Wayne collabo, I must say this joint is another banger. I personally still think "that flower" is they best unofficially released track to date.
